The Keyboard Accompaniment
Course Gives the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a great accompaniment
to a given melody. With a wide variety of styles, rhythms and embellishments,
"The Keyboard Accompaniment Course" progressively introduces chords while
giving effective tools for key-changing, fills and endings. By preparing
accompaniments for 1-2 new melodies routinely, harmonic intuitiveness accelerates &
creativity is stimulated - to a point where creating an appropriate accompaniment becomes
instinctive. The same as learning any subject (or a new language), hearing and anticipating
harmonic changes and creating accompaniment in a style and rhythm that suits the melody can
require regular practice. QuenMar Music is confident however, that you will find the whole
experience very enjoyable.
NOTE TO ADULTS: The Keyboard Accompaniment Course
"Elements"
is ideal for learning most chords and 2-hand accompaniment while being comfortable
in a single major and a single minor key.
